The only person that needs to and must take action in the equation is YOU.  You must have
the belief that you are capable of doing so - nobody else can do what you need to do for yourself.

  • Break down the goal into a series of small actions
  • Focus on each of the small actions and ACT!
  • Move on to the next small action as soon as you are capabale of doing so
  • The little successes you build along the way will reinforce your confidence
  • Share your little successes with those close to you - it reinforces your commitment
    and  you will get the support and encouragement to help you along the way
  • Visualize your Goals - Have a Vision Board (see BrandYou Software at for an example)
  • Create a Project Schedule or To-Do lists  (See BrandYou Software for an example)

  • Tracking your Goals
It is very important that you track your goals.   Tracking your Goals allows you to monitor where you are making progress and where you are not; it also gives you perspective in terms of the different Goals that you have set - which ones are lagging behind?

Setting a Deadline and watching your progress encourages you to progress further. One of the best ways to simplify the monitoring is to have a Graph that depicts the various Goals and how far you have progresses.  BrandYou Software gives you the following graph to help you monitor your progress:
